Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! We offer a free 30-minute consultation to explore your needs and help determine if we’re the right fit for your therapeutic goals.

How long are sessions, and what are your rates?
Counseling sessions are typically 50–60 minutes long.
Please contact us directly for information on session fees. We offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship.

Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available based on financial need. Please inquire during your consultation.

How do I book an appointment?
You can easily schedule an appointment using the link on our homepage. Just choose a time that works for you and complete the brief intake process online.

What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

What can I expect from my first session?
In your first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and start to build a plan together. It’s a supportive space for you to ask questions and begin feeling comfortable with the process.

Is therapy confidential?
Yes, your privacy is a top priority. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to self or others, or court orders). We’ll review this in detail during your first session.

How do I prepare for telehealth sessions?
Find a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection. We recommend using headphones for sound quality and closing unnecessary apps to avoid distractions. We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to protect your privacy.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need support navigating life, therapy can help. The free consultation is a great way to explore whether working with us feels like a good fit for your needs.

Do you offer crisis services?
Britton Clinical Services is not a crisis center. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent mental health support, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
